Summer CROP students and leaders did an amazing job transforming the Cafeteria into a jungle.. The jungle was complete with monkeys, tigers, snakes and a waterfall with a river running through it. They served jungle fruit smoothies. Great job! Enjoy your summer vacation!

(Track and field) Hi all, Track workout plan for summer is as follows. Plan will be updated with different workouts for the sprints and middle distance workouts. you can find a schedule that works for you but I would like you to get in 2 hard workouts a week and 1 day of a medium activity workout. the two hard workouts a week are as follows https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qF88X_wLGlg 1. Warm up, 3x30m fly(3 minutes rest in between), 2x40m fly(4 minutes rest in between Distance: Warm up, 5-6x400m 90% of race pace, 3 minute recovery between each 2. Warm up, 3x100m at 90% of race pace, 2x24 second drill(run as fast as you can for 24 seconds and record your distance) Distance: tempo run: 2 minutes easy, 3 minutes hard, 2 minutes easy, 3 minutes hard, 2 minutes easy. Hard=all out 3. Medium workout day, warm up, 3x20m acceleration starts, 1x50m acceleration start, plyometrics(standing long jump 8 times, fast feet 30 seconds 3 times, squat jumps 8 times) Distance: 8x80m hills at 80% effort(estimate) 800m base run Attached you will see a video as to what a fly is.
