We have some fantastic news to share! We're excited to reveal that Donna Marsh is becoming a part of the Margaretville Central School family as our new principal!
With a robust background in education and an unmatched passion for student success, Ms. Marsh is poised to be a remarkable addition to our community. She arrives with an impressive resume, holding a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maine, and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Development from the University of Albany. 
Her certifications in School District Administration and Special Education (Pre-K - Grade 6) underscore her commitment to academic excellence and inclusivity. 
Donna is a local resident who deeply believes in the value and opportunities that this area offers. She is no stranger to leadership roles, having served as Principal of Harpursville Elementary, Assistant Principal at Ulster BOCES, and Educational Supervisor/Principal at the Woodbourne Correctional Facility. Her experience in diverse and challenging environments has demonstrated her dedication to the cause of quality education for all. 
Her journey actually began in teaching and corrections, giving her a deep understanding of students' unique needs. She is determined to cultivate an environment where every student feels supported, and individual talents are nurtured and celebrated. 
Under her leadership, we'll notice a strong emphasis on a student-centered approach to education and an open line of communication between teachers, parents, and the wider community. She firmly believes in the power of collaboration and is eager to unite everyone in our shared mission of student success.
