Meet Dean MCS

I sat down with Dean and learned immediately we have something in common. Dean likes to ride dirt bikes and when I was his age, I also loved dirt bikes. Dean currently owns a KX65 and will  bump up to a KX 125. For novices who do not know about motocross, those are bikes that range from 50-500 cc and street bikes to 1000cc in engine size.

Dean enjoys MCS. He told me his grades are not bad. He told me that MCS is a really nice school. Dean was on our modified basketball team and had a great season. Dean enjoys Mr. Owdienko's class. Sports and movement are important to Dean.

I asked Dean if he could suggest one thing for MCS that would improve next year, what would it be? He told me, "More sports opportunities." Of course motocross was at the top of the list. I asked what else he would like to see and he told me, "I would like us to partner with another school so I can participate in a Lacrosse Program." I let him know we can see what Mrs. Reither can do about that for next year.

Dean is going into 9th grade next year. He looks forward to a new adventure in learning. Dean is an emerging leader at MCS and hopefully we can get him a motocross internship in his high school Junior or Senior year.
