Music Opportunities Abound!
MCS students have no shortage of opportunities to develop musically. One of the most unique aspects of our schedule is that students can often take advantage of these opportunities without being at the expense of another area of music learning. One of the students pictured attends Guitar Class, Music Appreciation, Band, and Choir in their schedule!
So often, schools are unable to accommodate more than one avenue of learning music, which forces students to choose between Chorus and Band. Thank you to our MCS Music Boosters and the Board of Education for being so supportive of our students in the Fine Arts programs.
By the time students reach the high school level, they can pursue music learning through the following opportunities, with more to come based on student interest and enrollment:

- Spring Musical
- NYSSMA participation
