MEET OUR NEW SPANISH TEACHER: CAITLIN SANFORD

I am very excited to be coming home to MCS and to fulfill my role as Spanish teacher.  I graduated from Margaretville in 2007.

I then went on to study Spanish and German at Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY.  During my college career I did a study abroad program at the University of Salamanca in Spain and the Goethe Institute in Schwabisch Hall, Germany.  I also spent a January term abroad in Vienna, Austria, studying with my German professor and other Hartwick students.

These experiences taught me so much about the languages and cultures of these places.  It cultivated my love of travel, learning, and teaching others about languages and cultures.

I have been teaching Spanish since 2017.  I love sharing my enthusiasm and love of Spanish with my students.

In my spare time I live and help on my family’s horse farm, where I enjoy horseback riding and baling hay.  I also spend a lot of time outdoors, hiking and traveling with my children.
