Margaretville Central School offers a number of extracurricular activities and interscholastic athletics for secondary students.

Athletics
Margaretville Central School offers 17 modified, JV, and varsity interscholastic athletic programs. The Blue Devils compete in the NYSPHSAA Section IV Class D, and in the Delaware League.

Clubs and Organizations
Various clubs and organizations are available to students in grades 6 through 12.

Performing and Visual Arts
MCS is home to a robust music and theater program and award-winning visual arts clubs.

Elementary Activities
Students in grades UPK through 5 have recreational and other activities available to them.
